Will you have lower rubber compounds for carpet and multi-ring (i.e. plaid or cyan) tires like TM, TRC or Jaco for us electric racers?

JimmyMac 02-16-2004 05:04 PM

What, no 28mm?

Tony Rivas 02-16-2004 05:18 PM

HEY GIVE THEM A BRAKE THEY ARE NEW COMPANY:nod:

jrighter 02-16-2004 05:21 PM

no doubt. Looks good to me.

Brian McGreevy:
Sorry, the lowest we have is 37shore. We do not know what shore is most often used in carpet. But i hope 37shore will work on carpet.

Thank You for your interest.

KilRuf: Please tell us how you feel about 28mm tires, what do you like about them?

Thank You for your interest.

When was this company started. And will you have anything else other than foam tires? I checked out the website and everything said coming soon except the foams.

JimmyMac 02-16-2004 05:34 PM

Well if I'm not mistaken... if I can remember that far back hehe.. Jaco's used to have 26mm foams... and TRC's had or still has 26mm... but both went to 28mm. I think the main thing is more traction. Especially for carpet. I know some cars do have trouble running 28mm foams. But it's what alot of people like to run. To me... 26mm/30mm combo seems more gear towards Nitro Cars than Electric. But back to why 28mm.... it's for more traction.

In carpet gotta have plaid and purple
plaid= 40 shore with a 45 shore ring on the outside
purple= 40 shore
28mm seems to be more consistant for me but that's just an oponion.
Also, sent you an email.

i agree with KilRuf, they are more of a nitro tire than electric

monotuning 02-16-2004 05:49 PM

Jim Morris: There will be more products add to the site, we would like to introduce our foamtires first to let more people to know about our company.

Thank You for your interest.

KilRuf: Thank You for your reply. So 28mm rear tires are more suitable for carpet? 30mm has too much bite?

Thank You

jrighter: Got your mail, will contact you soon.

Thank You

I would think 30mm might bind on some cars. I know 28mm on my xxx-s is pretty close to the shocks. monotuning, I sent you an e-mail reguarding your original post about the representation of our products.

28mm all around... Front and Rear for Electric Touring. Stock Touring can get away with a "plaid" tire for the front (purple/orange deal with harder compound on the outside)... and rears are more of a purple or 40 shore. Mod can sometimes use that or softer like a 30 shore rear and 35 front. But the "standard" for carpet touring seems to be Plaids front... Purple rears. 28mm.......

Nitro is 26mm fronts and 30mm rears. But I haven't kept up with Nitro's lately. So I'm not sure if that's changed any. But that was the "standard" for them.

for nitro tires their are specific tires for fronts and and rears. i use 37 fronts and 37 rears although they are the same shore the fronts are a little harder than the rears:weird:
