So whats out there that will run 1s lipo with no booster or RX pack.....

running a booster is easy, so why worry about it. I am using both the TQ and Dimension engineering boosters, just plug in the main battery and go.

I do beleive this also but when I plug in a 7.4 rx pack it does seem like it moves faster... but that is with 7.4. I really am stumped on this for some reason I have some people tell me to use one or a booster and some saying it is just fine, but with my servo only getting 3.7v its not at its full capability?

First of all, almost every ESC will run on a 1S that doesn't have a minimum voltage cutoff.
Two, it is the servo and Rx that need the booster or Rx pack not the ESC. So if you don't mind a slow servo and possible glitching and shortened range of the radio you should be fine without either.
You can use a 5cell Rx pack or a 2S Lipo Rx pack with a regulator which isn't difficult to do. Then you would get the best performance from your servo and Rx. Plus the Novak Booster has a 1S voltage cutoff so you won't ruin your battery.

Use a booster or pack. Sure there are some set-ups that will work without it, but none of them will work as well.
