What esc are you running? I don't know of any other than 8th scale esc's that can handle more than 3s.

Mamba max. The ESC handles it fine. But the motor isnt rated for anything over 2S But I keep the temps down so hopefully it will last me.

My buddy hit 70 with a 2.5 Team Orion and Novak GTB. He had it in a Cyclone with a Zomba Body. We were using a police radar system. It was still accelerating when it passed the radar, and we ran out of room. He was using only a 2s lipo. You should check out the Tekin RS Pro 2.5 system.

Ezrun 150A can handle 6S. So can the Mamba Monster, and the Tekin RX8. Your 7700 motor will die the moment you run on 6s. I advise you get a lower kv motor and try 6S. What gearing are you on (spur and pinion).

Yea i got 2 mamba monsters coming to me. One for my 1/8 scale project and another to handle 6s for my TC5. Im running a 28T pinion and a 88T spur. I thought it was 73T but i was wrong, im going to swap it out tonight for a 72T. I hit 76.7 yesterday with a 3S geared 40T pinion 88T spur. If I drop that spur down some, i should be able to get atleast 80. But I am waiting on my new body to come, i dont think its a good idea to go that fast without one!

Wait till the new body comes, try http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/_top_speed.html to check your gearing and see what speeds you should be expecting. Watch the temps on the motor and esc. Do one run, leave to cool, repeat.

It says 101 mph. Do you know if the Mamba max ESC will support 6S? Maybe not support it but get away with it?

Not sure if you got the tourqe steer problem resolved. Make sure the cams for front and back are aligned the same left to right.
