Default Having a Issue with Novak Havoc 3S ESC Shutting off

Hi, I'm new to the forum but not new to the game. I'm having an issue with my Novak Havoc 3s. It keeps shutting off on me whenever I use it. Someone told be its because its overheating and shutting itself off.Novak was no help as I called them several times with no solution. Its driving me nuts. I've looked everywhere on the net and then A friend referred me here. He said you guy may be able to change the software or mod it so that it never shuts off on me again. Please help me I have a Competition in 2 weeks and I cant have this thing shutting off on me 4 Minutes in a drift.

Team Associated TC4
Novak Havoc 3S
Novak Ballistic 8.5
2-3 Cell Batteries
20 Tooth Pinion-108 Spur

If you need any more info from me let me know ( I sleep next to my computer )

What are the temps for the motor and the esc? I have a havoc that thermals when the motor temps get to 140 ish and the esc can be 90 ish I sent an e mail and they checked the seriel number and said it needed to be updated with a newer program.... Running a higher C rated battery helps to prolong the shutdown. Gearing change also helped.

I had my Havok updated and it ran perfectly at 155 degrees motor temp last week. It seems to run really good now.

Email tech@teamnovak.com with your questions. They can advise you and tell you what you need to do if your esc needs to be updated.
