I had a long day going thru the cross reference list of all the parts ('009 vs T3) & couldnt see what the difference with the steering block part number.
Part number is still the same (302252) COMPOSITE STEERING BLOCK - MEDIUM - RUBBER-SPEC - V2
but the description changed with the "V2" at the end in the T3 manual compared to the T2009.
Please correct me if i am wrong.

Just to clarify the issue.. as people say picture says a thousand words... or is that a million pixel...
Left is from the T2'009 & Right is V2 (T3). Just to let you guys know...

One suggestion I have about making your job easier when doing turnbuckles is to use a turnbuckle tool (the cup holder). HPI used to provide one int heir kits some time gao, not sure if they still do it. Clamping the cup gently in a vice (perhaps using some soft jaws or something soft to cover them) helps a lot.
