On the kit Xray wrench, small side is for spring steel turnbuckles, big side is for alloy turnbuckles.

Default Yeah it's kind of strange.

that there's very little buzz around Xray anymore. Seems Tamiya has stolen it all from them. The 416 thread is busy. I sure hope Xray has something with some of their own refinements/quality with the 416X bulk heads design, toe blocks and tie rods mounted on the bulk heads. Some new Teflon coated shocks would be a nice touch. Xray has always been about the small improvements and easier design features. I sure hope we hear or see something soon. I need a car for the TC season soon.

Exactly! Look at the 009, people still run that car and do just as well as any other car

At the track right now, giving my T3R its first run ever. With a "blind" setup put on it I already know it's faster than my 007 and my friends' 009's we ran last year (keeping up with the 1/12 at the moment). I know it's just a budget T3 but it works well for me. I bought the Spec-R shafts for it and plan to put better turnbuckles on it, but otherwise I love it!

Has anyone used the atomic dbl. cv shafts? I've got a 007 and I'm looking for some feedback.

Buy a Xray 009, T3. Who cares, either wins. If you get held back from not having he newest Xray, then you should not be talking about the chassis you wanna buy on RCTech.

Default Well if your going to spend $500 for an Xray...

I'll wait for the Lipo chassis. No chassis is going to make me driver better, that's for sure, but why not get the most out of the new design features.

Default Hey guys

I'm looking to buy either a tc5 or the x ray t3, i cant decide which one to go for. I'm looking for a lightweight but tough enough chasis cos im hoping to add the mamba max esc and motor 7700kV on it. Can anyone perhaps help give me a few pointers (like which one has better maintenance, spare parts, etc) .

Cheers guys

Probably agree.

but what I was saying was in repsonse to people saying the tamiya was so popular. It is popular because it wins world championships....
