Got some money to spend. In between the spec r shafts or the gear diff. What would be a better first upgrade? Planning on getting them both at one point.

For the gear diff you need short drive shafts (50mm). Or you could put 2mm shims between the suspension holders and the bulkheads. if you have these I would go for a gear diff. Or even better get some ECS drive shafts. In my opinion one of the best upgrade parts

So the spec r gear diff does not work in the rear unless you buy different shafts? I had understood it was complete drop in.

LOL. Don't worry about 50mm driveshafts. In fact, forget the Spec-r diff altogether. In my humble opinion, I think its overrated. On low grip tracks, I think its harder to drive. Whenever I put the ball diff back in the car, (with a free, non slip well maintained one of course) the car performs better. I've tried different oils 150 - 2000 and i've ended up removing it.

This is probably a dumb question. Do you guys adjust wheel base in the front and rear of the car or just the rear? And if you are adjusting in the front for a shorter wheel base, do you shim in the front or rear of the front A-arm?

Thanks.

I've only ever changed the rear.

On the 009 I used to be able to run 1mm in front of the rear wishbones quite often, but on the T3 it almost always makes it more unstable so I stick with the kit 2mm.

Default 92T spur gear?

Has anyone run the Xray 92T offset spur gear in their T3? Can you get to the rear screw to tighten the motor in place? Or do you have to do something special? Thanks. Bill

Hey all. What is everyone running for pistons? Are you guys using the adjustable or standard. I am using the adjustable pistons but feel like they are a lil inconsistent sometimes.

The kit 350cSt is a good starting point, but it will all depend on the track etc.
