I was wondering the same thing. I like the smokem chassis better then the exotek one, has normal tape slots not the weird cups and all that around the battery. And its pretty cheap too!

i am looking for help after todays testing

i was on a tight technical track today and although the car drove well i could do with i little more steering , i was on full lock though the infield a lot and i feel i could do with some more steering and a little more rear grip all though i think the LTC-r body was not helping the rear grip , but i was struggling for steering with the Speed6 body

would making the car narrower at the front help ??

this was my set up from the the end of the day i changed a little due to lack of time.

any help would be nice cheeRS Phil

I haven't run it, But I would rather not run a battery with tape only. It would be nice to have some sort of lateral / longitudinal bracing. I have heard nothing but good things about the exotec.

Looking at your sheet, the akerman post is to the rear. I have mine to the front (tab to rear) and that is a major advance in steering gain. I run everything else very similar to the rest of your set up. Hope this helps

As far as set up sheets on xray's site, I dont understand why it has to be filled out in 10 mins or the session fails. I need more then 10 mins to fill one out and make sure everything is correct LOL

has anyone tried these yet?

it's being sold at nexusracing and produced by team epic/trinity as per the website indicates.

http://www.nexusracing.com/product_i...0f623d81a1a78e

It does not state, however, what size bearings it uses, but based on the picture, it seems like the stock ones.

Low your front shock mount to #1

Add two screws back into the rear top deck - either in the wings or topdeck. If there is no grip use even softer springs. I had to run 2.4 in front and yellows in rear on a pollen filled track this weekend.

Offset your ride height - make the back 0.5mm higher

Shim up the front camber link to 2mm from 1.5

Add a 1mm shim under the outer knuckle/steering rod link

Reduce rear toe to 2.5 or 2

Try shorter wheelbase and using 1.15 shims on the front wishbones (you don't say what they were before!)

What is the diff ball size for the t3? The instruction manual says 2.4mm, is this right or is it a 3/32. I am looking at ordering ceramic from avid and that is the closest i can find at 2.381mm.
