The guys in hong kong have been doing this for a while, with my limited translating skills this is what they did:
nt1 rear diff with a t3 diff pulley with 5000 diff oil. They only filled 3/4 of the diff with oil and you need to modify it a little so oil doesn't spill out.

I get the short axles, do you happen to have pictures of the diff itself? cause it looks like the diff gear holes would line up, but you would have to ream it and other misc mods..
