We have a couple of racers at our club that run foam 007's on rubber tires with great success. In fact, their cars are really planted. I beleive they're running front diffs (instead of spools) in spec classes 17.5 & 13.5. Also seems to me the that they're running the shocks fairly stiff and heavily dampened. Hope this helps.

My 07 Eu Rubber works great on carpet. one of the better handling cars on the track. if I can only get more power out of the motor. supposedly all even motors. ohh well I will eventually learn how to cheat I meant trick my motors.

Look at Paul Lemieux's IIC setup...very good starting point. However, if you are not using Jaco rubber, then reduce the camber to about 1.5 degrees.
