It depends greatly on the bite your carpet has. I used Jaco Green's on my Corally RDX with a one way and LOVED IT!! Other cars used Jaco blues with the same results. We had a spec tire of either BLUE or GREEN from Jaco. I do know that CS 27's might be alittle too much if the traction is high. If you can find a set of new OR used RP30's, snatch them up in a hurry!!!! Those tires are simply amazing!

Honestly I think the Jaco Blues are the best overall. The Sorex 28 are said to be great too. The Blues are consistent from throughout their life span. When I have used other tires in the past CS 27, RP30's etc., there was a noticeable difference in performance when you'd replace and old set with a new set. Not so much with the Blues. I run them until the literally fall apart.

Sorex 24 have been dialled for me, just make sure your suspension isn't too hard and scrubbing them up (usually on the front and on the sidewalls especially).

28s are good if you're not too hit up on tenths of a second per lap, and want a good amount of runs out of the tyre, especially in stock.

With testing that's been done for a local series up here in Canada, the Jaco Blues were found to produce the same times on a medium grip carpet track for longer then the Greens. Aside from JACO, the Take-Off tires are great. RP30's or CS27's.

tried sorex and takeoff tyres on the carpet we race here, and have found that Sweep 24Rs work the best. They don't really shine up as quickly as the Sorex or TakeOffs.

Try a set... you wouldn't be disappointed!

Anybody noticed the new Prism wheels on the Jacos? It's got some additional bracing on the inside, possibly to make it more rigid? The guys locally that have tried them seem to think the setup is quite a bit different. I'm still burning through my IIC tires, which I believe are the original wheel, but with the newer insert.

Not worried, just curious about the change. I'm hopeful it'll help the wheels stay true longer.
