Default Tekin esc question

Does anybody know if the Tekin g9 comes with the new style connectors for the receiver? I think for airtronix it would be the
"z" type connector. I might have a good deal on one, but want
to make sure it will work with a Novak xxxtra reciever.
Thanks in advance.

im not sure if the G9 comes with the new receiver connectors but i think you can install any receiver connector you want with that ESC. most LHS have spare plastic connectors that you can use with just about any esc/receiver combo. i got a used LRP and it came with a JR connector. i switched it to a futaba type for my futaba receiver. BUT make sure that the polarity for the connectors are correct for your particular receiver.

I bought an XXL receiver just last week and my old G9 plugged right in without changing the adaptor.

the new Z connector was airtronics move to make their compatibility better and easier for everyone....

originally everyone had their own secret wire hookups... old airtronics wires used to be all black...

All you have to do is switch the wire order to fit whatever reciever your using and attach the proper connector. All Tein speedos have replacable plug ends. The XXtra even makes it easy for you, the sticker shows where the positive, negative, and signal wires should be.

Hello,

I have heard a nasty rumor that Tekin is no more? I hope that it isn't true, they make the best speedos I have used. My G-9 outperforms my Quantum hands down... plus it's cool to kick butt with "old technology"
