BL in 1/10 F1

What size BL motor is every one putting in thier F1, 21.5 is the 17.5 to much, im looking at buying a F104 and would like to order everything at once , will be running with 2s 4000mAH LiPo.

ESC wars

I ran a 13.5 @ a huge outdoor track (Leisure Hours Raceway, jewel of the midwest) and it was great. I'm hoping (and wishing, and praying) that we will be allowed to run 21.5's against the silver cans so I can drop KERS (tekin v200) on suckas:nod:

We allow 21.5 in 540 class (TC carpet) and it's just unfair. There is no way you can beat it (I have one so I know). My guess is in a F1 it would be even more unfair.

We are running in our new racing series a 17.5 brushless with a 4.8 Volt stick pack.

The other one is a 13.5 brushless with a 7.4 Lipo.

If you like it fast or have a huge outdoor track take the 13.5.

For small indoor i think a 17.5 would be good.

With a 17.5 it not to hadr to control beeing 2wd?
We have a failry desent size outdoor track

Like JayL said, it is not to hard to control the car.

JATOdriver 09-11-2009 01:31 PM

does the kit come with a pinion for BL power, if not what do yall recomend, the track is a decent size outdoor track close to 100' x60'

novak is releasing 25.5 stators for their ballistic. i think thats a strong candidate to replace those damn can motors.

Isn't there a weight penalty for KERS cars? :p

How different is the gearing for BL? What about those hobbywing systems?
