In addition announcements such as "blue car, the yellow car behind you is in first place and is coming up on you" helps both those racers navigate their way to keep things clean. The reason I suggested two announcers is it is impossible to call out lap times and watch the race for such things.

I know I had a couple of incidents I could have likely avoided with a little heads up, like a car stopped at the end of the straight while on an A main qualifying run.

That said, the announcing was the same for everyone. There are many qualifiers to pull together both your driving and luck and in the end the driver is kinda on their own. Having announced races in the past I know how stressful and difficult it can be at times. I really envy people that do it well.
It's a situation that will never make everyone happy, too many opinions, just like what classes to run. Some racers get nervous when you tell them they are doing good, some don't pay attention at all, some listen to music on the stand.

Why is it that when you see results for major races it only list names and times. Where can I find race results that list equipment used ie: chassis, batteries, tires, etc.

Thanks,

because the logistic of getting that information into a computer takes more time then just coping the file out of the scoring computers folder to a folder on the internet and then posting a link. I don't type fast or well so I'm not going to take someone's handwritten sponsor sheet and put it into a file to post. I don't get paid for that. I don't get paid for posting the link. plus I'm lazy. but I do post what I can to get you a taste of the race. now if you want that info, please come out to the race and take the sponsor sheets and type it into a file and I'll post a link to it. now like rc extreme has info on the IIC vegas race and it has all the info that you want. check out my stats for 8th place in 13.5 foam but remember that reporter got paid. by me as I bought the mag!
