Where did "Top 5" come from. Here is the rule from the official website:

1.13: Any driver who made the A main in stock in the last 5 years at any of these national events, IIC, US Indoor Champs, Snowbirds, Carpet Nationals MAY NOT run in the 17.5 classes.

Perhaps they did not update the rules page for '09/'10 this is from the home page of the website, also changes wording to ROAR Nats, encompassing all genre

Class Restriction:
If you have finished in the Top 5 at a National level event (ROAR Nats, IIC, Indoor Champs, Snowbirds), you may not participate in the 17.5 class. For example, if you finished 3rd in stock foam sedan at the ROAR Nats, you can only run 10.5 Foam Sedan, 10.5 1/12 and 13.5 rubber for the Grand Slam.

The rule does not include the paved nats although if we feel you are a ringer for the 17.5 class you will be told to run pro just like we have in the past. The rules page will be updated soon. Everything that is changed so far is on the home page.

Eli finished second at the carpet nats 2 years ago and won last year so he cannot race stock.

Its still 13.5 but it is not considered a pro class even though anyone can run it.

just an outside opinion, if you are only running one world gt class, it should be 10.5. the 13.5's are a little lazy for the level of drivier that will be running in this series.

to bad this race is actually on halloween...... i would love to be a mixer in this series.

The wgt class is only an extra class for this race. Many of our locals are not pros so that is what we chose. If another race wants to have WGT as their raceway choice class they can make it 10.5 or what ever they want (4.5) LOL!!

The rules page on the website doesn't seem up to date with all the classes. Which ROAR weight will you be using for Rubber TC? 1500 or 1420?

The rubber class as of now is 1500 grams. If a rules change is imminent from ROAR, then we will follow suit.

We're still getting all the class specs finalized, as they pertain to spec foams, permitted rubber premounts etc.

We don't want to make 5 updates to the rules page. Do it right the first time!
