New Rule Changes - 9.09:
1.13: If you have a Top 5 finish in any stock class in the last 5 years at the Carpet Nats, Indoor Champs, Snowbirds, IIC, or Novak Race, you may not race stock in any Grand Slam class. Further, the Grand Slam has the right to deny highly-skilled racers entry in the stock classes. For example, Ralph Burch may not have raced stock in the last 5 years, but would not be permitted to race in our stock classes. Top 5 finishes in “Amateur”, “Sportsman”, and “Masters” classes do not apply. Some additional exceptions may be made when pertaining to low class turnouts at major events.

Sorry, looks like the answer is No.

Looks like the answer is yes then. 17.5 rubber was amateur in vegas. Billed as such and could not have any sponsors to run the class

Was Stock Rubber at the Snowbirds considered "Amateur" class?

Nope Jeff Cuffs won, I ran it, Haynes ran it. Not amateur. 17.5

This is how 17.5 rubber is listed on the IIC website.

So then the answer is no, due to the "top 5 at the 07 birds in stk rubber".
