Ok...so you guys have kept up with this more than I have.

Other than the SpeedMerchant that isn't out yet, what are our current options for 235mm other than the Serpent S110 w/ Pro10 kit?

Anyone else make a pro10 specific chassis? I mean if we are going to say 235mm what can we recommend?

Very good point, kinda hard to get people started in a class when no one can walk into the average hobby shop and pick a 235mm car off the shelf lol.

I listed a few links below, but other then those and the speedmerchant roadkill 10 your looking at the older Associated RC10l2 which is getting hard to find but still competive(2wdrive runs a modded RC10L2). They lack the newer suspension designs but old stuff like the Bolinks, Deltas, or vintage ebay finds are 235mm. Then my personal favorite is the custom built prototypes that make the hobby really fun. I'm sure there is other options I'm missing...

Corally 10SL 235mm
http://www.stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...ns&pn=COR00049

CRC GenX10 235mm conversion kit (rear widening achieved by hub extensions)
http://www.stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...=ns&pn=CRC1711

CRC GenX10 235mm conversion kit (rear widening achieved by pod widening)
http://lajf.se/pshop/index.php?id_ca...gory&id_lang=1

235mm axles/diffs for conversions or higher quality replacement parts

Corally is time tested quality for sure. Ya Stormer is great, he carries just about everything pan car.

front end widening parts for the Associated RC10R5, uses the CRC hub extensions on the rear.

So MARCCA's carpet track is open year around this year at least.

Should we get something going?

I have a Tekin RS2 collecting dust. I'm seeing a 10.5 Trackstar motor and 905B body in my near future. This would be the more power and speed class the club has been missing. Lots of throttle control and lap times maybe less than a second faster. Why run Mod when you can run..... PRO 10 235.

As creator of this thread, I support this post.

RC devil makes a 235MM Pro10 car that is wicked but expensive
http://www.freemart.de/rcdevilshop/i...9571c9e8cd83a9
Also LAJF makes a widening kit for the Xray X10 link that is nice.
Uses wide rearpod.
You do need a IRS axle tho.

They where produced by "C.Andy's Rc Car Prototypes".
With this beauties it's possible to run much cheaper 30mm

That's good to know I thought the carpet track was only a winter deal. Are you guys still running on Sundays? I hope so as I work every other day of the week... Summer is harder to find time on Sundays for me and I'm also running LM1 in the FormulaRC asphalt series which is once a month thru October. However come winter I could be down there almost every Sunday for some Pro10 and LM1 action.

I'd be all over a Pro10 class if you guys are down to get something going, I guess I really need to get down to Madison and put in some track time with you guys.

Good to see the gears are turning and interest is perking up. Lets get something put together.

Would you by chance have a link to this post? I'm curious now as the more body choices the better.

Default MARCCA Pro10 class

Looking for opinions/suggestions on Pro10 class rules from the MARCCA racers and any other Wisconsinite looking to run Pro10 @ MARCCA. What do you guys think about these rules:

any 10.5T
open ESC, open timing
any 2S lipo
235mm chassis
non-nitro 235mm bodies
1150 gram min weight
open tire

*these are basically the dutch rules with the exception of only 235mm chassis
