Default Pro10 in Cancun

I live in Cancun, Mexico and although there are some small RC clubs here they have absolutely no organization. If I was back in the USA I would jump at the chance to renew Pro10.....
Meanwhile I'm kind of a "lone wolf" with pan cars here. They love to watch mine and drive them but I can't get any of them to buy one.

Anyway I have a new CRC GEN X 10LE with the widening kit that I put together recently. I'm using a Spektrum radio setup, HobbyWing ESC, Novak BE, a Spektrum servo, and a 1S liPo. See pictures.......

Then just to be different I put this body on it.

It's and NOS McAllister body from long ago. A March82 Indycar that I was very lucky to find recently.......

That looks awesome, Tom! I see foam tires on it. You had mentioned using caps in a previous post. Do the foams work better on your track?

Dunno if they're still in the 1/10th business though.
GRP doesn't make those tires anymore. All the grp wheels you might see in current race pictures are old grp rims with foamdonuts glued on to them.

Default Tyres

I've been trying both types of tyres. In order for the foams to work the turns have to be sprayed. With the caps a good sweeping will work. Yesterday when I tested with the Indy body it took a really soft touch to not spin out on corner exit. So it's a work in progress.

I usually run a Puegot 905B HD body with caps. I bought a huge lot on EBay last year so without any scheduled races they will last a lifetime.

I'm still learning my CRC . My old AE RC10LS wide is dialed in and fast. I use caps and the 905 body on it too.

The Porsche is a Mix/corally body and is a copy from the same bodies Serpent used for the 1/10 235mm nitro cars long time ago. Lola's are Corally / MIX LOLA 09, Blitz 908 and some others. They are normally designed for 1/10 235mm nitro cars but they fit the pancars so they use them as they give more downforce.

Do you mean the stock pro10 podium? It is just the way he cut the body. Some keep the body intact behind the wheelwells and some cut it higher. You could ask Corally USA and they could contact Corally Germany. They are producing/selling the Nissan P35 and other MIX bodies.

Hello all,
I am building up a Pro 10 (from an RC10L) and I may need a servo. What would you recommend? I will be running 1s and either a first generation Novak GTB with a booster or a Tekin RS with a booster.
Thanks for your help!

I use the same as 1/12th scale and oval 9602 or 9650 for 10.5 or less. Full mod bigger as I need weight to keep the front end down.
