Hey, Toady, I can fix you up with a new built but never run Trinty Switch Blade or a built Trinity EV10 virtually new. I picked up several good or new protens on Ebay for decent prices over the years. Now I'm wondering "WHY" !!! We still have 2 to 4 Protens racing on asphalt at our permanent asphalt track. We don't have enough for our own class so we run in open class. We run 2s 10.5 blinky. 3 are 10L2s and 1 is a 10L2.5 and a couple of WGT cars, 1s 10.5 blinky and they are pretty quick. We race 1/12 indoor in the winter.

We'll have to think about 10.5 2s / Blinky, might keep the guys from melting the brushless motors.

Just picked up a ProtoForm Nissan P-35 to put on the car. Sometimes things just show up at the right time on the sale threads or E-bay.

Hi thank for the offer I will keep that in mind. I have had a sb10 before and it was difficult to drive and keep tuned. When I switched from the sb10 to the yrx-2000 I became a better driver. I did get a PM about a yrx-2000 so I will see if it works out.

The thing that I think would help us over in North America is really to pull out the Pro10s and run them during open track time when its available. the downside is that there are not a ton of asphalt tracks that can handle those kind of vehicles unless they are nitro tracks.

I still love racing my 10L2 in the the summer. I have picked up enough parts from Ebay to keep my friends and myself supplied for some time to come. Our track is approx 140' X 80'. We prep the track with 25 gallons of sugar water. Last year I ran 1s and a Novak 5.5 motor and was as fast as 10.5 2s. We decided to run 10.5 2s blinky this season. I found the 1s easier to drive. Tire wear with the 2s seems to be worse. $40.00 dollars of tires yields 2 race nights. 3 Qualifiers and a main, we have also gone to 6 minute races. WGT cars are seem to be much easier tires. I think next year will be WGT 1s for me.

Yeah TheBigBull got me back into 10 pan after a long RC retirement. I ran it a couple of times this year, but the driving skills are taking longer to come back as i get old....

Howcome your tire wear is so big??
I run also 2S with 10.5 boosted but don't use up $40 on tires at 1 event and we run 3 qualifiers and at least 2 mains all 7 minutes.
I do use every heat a set all arround just once.
This to get even wear and longer lasting tires.
I can run 6 or 7 events with those tires if i don't chunk them.
Is it that you true them from new??

Regards Roy

Regarding the Peugeot MD, has any one contacted Protoform to see if they might do a run of this shell?

I believe Alex(2WD) has contacted them(dunno what the answer was tho) and also send a new body to another firm for reproduction but never heard anything anymore
Shame tho
The Corally Nissan P35 is also a nice allround body.
The Sauber C11 is a body when you need a lot of steer but when you use a gurney it gets downforce at the rear also and the HMS from what i have heard has a lot of downforce overall.

Regards Roy

I've always liked the Hot Bodies P35, how similar is the Corally as I don't think I've ever had one?

I have the ProtoForm and HB, so the differences are easy to see.

Thanks

Mark

Upto acouple of years ago we ran Pro10 just fine in a parking lot. Has to be smooth, and clean. Then we spray with soda... Worked Great.

Problem was the cars slowly trickled down, and then we switched to WGT as many of the racers were complaining about the speeds being to high. (we ran 2S/10.5/Open ESC)

They will run them if you purchase 200 bodies. That's what they did for our club about 5 years back.

I still have acouple of mediums kicking around. But the shipping is pretty scary from Canada.
