There is a firm that makes a wide conversion for the 10R5 but they use the CRC widening hubs on the rear.
I have seen some people make a wide rear pod also and use the IRS rear axle with it.
Remember one thing tho......The wheelbase of the 10R5 is shorter then a normall 235MM pancar even in it's longest config

regards Roy

thanks this is why i am leaning towards a corally or the serpent as they come 235mm form the factory ( serpent w/ there 235mm option kit , would give me the option of going down to the 200mm wgt class) the corally i dont know what would involve going to 200mm if i wanted to , any input on either of these cars would be awesome.

Had je niet beter wat meer vlees laten staan aan de voorkant bij de vooras?
Verder ziet ie prachtig uit.

Isnt the chassis a bit weak under the front arms?
looks amazing

Yes it's self made. I made the drawings in Autocad and the milling is done by a friend of mine. Only the bumper is original CRC :-D

@2wd: the alu is T6 indeed. Hans had some leftovers in his workshop which were just big enough to make the rearpod. This part was the hardest part to mill he said :-) It took a lot of WD40 spraying during milling

Thanks for the comments

Are they Tamiya F1 standoffs?
If so I am curious as to choice - (they a fairly heavy), were they picked for strength?
