It's a Corally (Protoform) Nissan P35 and thank you for the compliment.

For making side dams, it wil be the easiest to stock a sheet of clear lexan and make them yourself.

About the Foam Liquid... What's your location spence88? Maybe we can arrange something for you. I don't know how the flight policies are here regarding shipping of liquids of that kind.

How were the driving conditions? The track looks wettish with dark spots on it.

Hey guys. Yes it was a bit gutting to be beaten by my own car but hey, at least I was beaten by my own car and not one of those Xrays. The track was a bit greasy all weekend as it rained for a while on the Friday night and then on Saturday morning too, but the other thing to take into account here is that we don't run traction additive here in New Zealand as it is not permitted. The other guy that was running one of my chassis's qualified 9th and finished 5th in the end so not to bad. The first main before the one that Bishy put on here was a clear away win for me. Unfortunately Bishy had to rush to the stand as he had an F1 race before our first pro10 main and he managed to make a slight mistake off the line and I got the pass at the start and got the win by half a lap. Unfortunately I pulled a bit too much steering off the line in the second main and it hooked sideways. Then I kept tangling with other guys and couldn't catch Bishy in the end. The 3rd main was a bit of a repeat of the second unfortunately for me and I kept getting tangled up with back markers. Bishy got that little lead on me and I just couldn't quite peg him back. Oh well, with the level of racers getting better all the time I was just really happy to be at the pointy end of the field with the new car that I had no track time with before that weekend. BTW, The shocks arrived on my door step 2 days before we travelled to the Nationals so it was close, thanks Freddy for shipping them out just in time. I've attached a few pics of the 10R5.1 before I sold it to Bishy. I am about to refine the rear pod and change the chassis a bit in the next few months so will put some pics of that up when its done. The other funny thing that was said over the weekend was comments from the mod TC drivers, they were slightly upset that we were turning the same lap times in pro10 running 13.5 boosted with 2s lipo as they were in Mod TC. Gota love that.

The tc drivers seem to think they're faster than they are because of the cost.

Pro 10 mod is nearly as quick as 1/8 nitro on road. Which is insanely quick!

It´s very pleasant to see so many people running pro10 cars these days in a race.

Tomorrow we have a race here in Barcelona (Spain), 20 guys with tourings cars, only 4 with pro10.

PS: I still have my RCDEVIL PC10H3X and I don´t sell it!!!

i drove in club races with only 3-4 cars. Was still fun for me . This year we will have roughly 12-14 drivers in our club class so even more fun.

no, modified pro10 can be as quick or quicker then 1/8. It depends on the track layout. It is only for 5 minutes though where the 1/8 can keep on going.

We want to organize "Only pro10 allowed" races, perhaps we can be 7-8 people. But sharing time and track with TC drivers is pointless.

Last night I ran my Pro10 with some Pro12's indoors on carpet. (Our club hires an indoor cricket complex once a month and lays down PVC dividers to make a different track each time).
Although more flowing than usual, the track was a little small for my 235mm "Fat Bottom Girl" but it was still fun.
My lap times were in the same second as the TC Mod guys so we're keeping them honest.
Sad to say a 12th bet me in the three heats, those things are quick indoors!
(I was leading a couple of times but ran out of skill/luck/track and conceeded defeat)
I taped my iphone to the rear of the car for a practise session and even though the weight on the wing was making the car want to traction roll on the way into corners, then lift the inside front wheel on the way out it still made for some awesome footage!
When I figure out a way to download the film I'll post it here.
Cheers!

I'm sure certain tracks the Pro 10 is quicker, but i'd always put my money on 4WD 8th Scale if I was a betting man.

Thanks Joost, I didn't mean you to send it, just maybe anyone who can or knows the owner? I am in Australia, is it a flammable liquid? might be an issue!

Oh okay,

Yes, I do know the owner. What did you mean then? Or better, what would you like me to do for you?

Will the CRC expansion kit work on the 10r5? If not, who makes the front plate for the 10r5 these days?

Ahhh, well if you could ask him to send some to me in Australia I would be very happy! He doesn't answer my emails? Not sure why, thanks so much!

Default Onboard Video

Okay, so its a phone taped to the rear wing which caused all sorts of issues but the footage is still pretty cool I reckon. The Green pan I'm chasing for a bit is an Xray 12th.

You'll have to go to Youtube, cut and paste this link and cross your fingers. Otherwise I'm sure some technically savvy user will post it up here

Enjoy!
