Ah ok. personaly i would want to have something in the slots but good to know it will stay on the chassis with tape only as shown in the video..

I use the slots for two things.
1. to secure the lipo on the chassis so it doesn't move forwards
2. to get the weight as low as possible. I use stripes of construction lead under the lipo's that fall into the slots. Getting extra weight any lower then that is almost impossible. It keeps the rest of the chassis pretty clean as well without the dead weight on top.

I have an old 10L2 chassis laying around that I want to pull back out. Has anyone tried to run with a stick pack on a T-bar car? I just donít want to buy a saddle pack just to see if I like it or can find a place to run it.

Thanks in advance!

lots of folks run that configuration just fine... me included.. the car balances just fine battery on one side and electronics on the other.. you may need to ballast it a bit but it's easy..

WTB used 1/10 235mm Pan car body

Looking to buy some used bodies for a 235mm 10L2.

I dont care if it was for another car, i can put new holes in the body. Just dont want something completely beat up, just need something for a parking lot.

As this forum has a bit of life, I'll ask here:
Assembling Serpent S100. Confused about diff balls - Manual shows 8 balls inserted (but not which holes)
My spur has 2 rows of 8 holes (sames as the spur in the manual)
Neither row of holes seem to line up well with the diff ring - both on the edges.

Which holes to use?

Outer holes are usually the go. Only way to fly on my car.

Somebody had some white rings - plastic or delrin?
Pretty sure they are a cover to stop or limit dirt getting into the diff.

i tried the kimbrough diff covers some time ago for my kimbrough spurs but they don't work, at least not in outdoor application. Dirt is comming in and can't get out anymore. I haven't used them in a long time.
