Dale Epp of Protoform is working on a new one right now, should be ready well before Vegas.

He has been at it for quit some time now. But I can't wait for the result. It's about time that Protoform brings something new into the game...

I know this is the Pro10 thread, but I hope there's a 200mm version of whatever he makes too...

Problaby not, most 200mm are WGT chassis but it would be nice. Saxo does the same so...

A "WGT chassis"? You mean body? Maybe in America, but here, they're just bigger pan cars that work a bit better for indoors carpet than 235mm (easier to pass on tight layouts!).

Yep, I agree! But I'm in the UK, stuck indoors most of the time, so I hope there's also a narrow version of the new body shell for us poor carpet-dwellers...

I agree with you... If you are limited by smaller (carpet) tracks it would be great to have the same choice of bodies as the 235mm's

Exactly. We don't have the stifling body rules here as ROAR have in the US with World GT, so we already run bodies such as the narrow version of the MIX Porsche 962. But more choice would be better!

I am currently running the crc car with conversion and haven't had any issues with vibration, however I did upgrade the rear pod to the sliding adjustment which is super awesome when running foam tires, but a wide rear pod will be cool.

also, what shocks, and springs would you guys suggest me converting to? I run outdoor boosted 10.5. thanks

Centershock: use a good quality TC shock like the TRF
Sideshock: AE R5, CRC encore, Silva HPS2

Springs: centershock, whatever pleases you and sidesprings AE, CRC etc.

Loaded up my new BMI 235mm car that I bought from Mikus.
Note the twin 1s packs fit right down the middle. I elected for a more equal weight distribution with the batteries forward and all the electronics in the rear for the initial setup.
