Depending on body rules, try contacting mix-rc.de.
They have some bodies for you.
Like the mix Nissan(a bit to much df), the Porsche 962(less steering) and the Sauber C11(more steering), also the Team Saxo is a great body for stock racing.
And there is the Peugeot 905HD.

What do you guys make of the VIP body? I'm using one at present and it seems pretty good in my opinion.

The VIP body is one that is designed for mod racing.
If your gonna use it on the bigger outdoor tracks with 10.5 boosted,it will reduece top speed because of the high downforce config.
On the slower indoor tracks it shouldn't be a problem.

based upon the experience of people -- do you think a 3-shock design is needed, or will a single shock + damper tube be enough?

Ive seen some pics.. But they cannot be shared. The car is still bring adjusted based upon feedback from various existing 235mm racers.

They should have contacted some of the euro drivers for feedback or doing some test work.

I'm converting my Associated 10R5.1 with a TRR kit. I bought the car used, and the steering arms have been installed upside down, meaning the axles are higher than they should be, but also cuts down the shims needed with larger tyres.

Are there any negatives to leaving them like this, if my ride heights are ok?
