Indoor carpet??

NONE!! We don't drive the 235mm Pro10's on indoor carpet tracks. Way to much power with a 10.5 on 2S with full boost!!!

We do! Without boost or turbo a 10.5T/2S is manageable indoor on a large enough track. 10.5 and 13.5 are equal through the turns, down the straight the 10.5 teleports the car compared to 13.5. FUN. Just need to watch the barrier pipes.

+1 for the P905B http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXXSP7&P=7

The indoor carpet tracks that we have here are simply too small for a 235mm Pro10.
For that we have 12th scale...

It's just not the vibe & buzz you get out of running a Pro10 on asfalt running it on carpet.

GT12 is not really happening over here because the regular 12th classes are going strong already....

Our track is now 112 x 72 feet. It is huge. Drivers stand is 5 feet tall and 24 feet long. Pro 10 is very manageable. Our issue is that we also have a very strong carpet off-road group that runs the night before. They leave some interesting cuts in the carpet.

Late update for Sunday 10/19.

We raced Pro10 on carpet, 2S Open ESC, Open motor. We only had 4, but it was very manageable. Most everyone was running 13.5 or 10.5. Everyone finished. No major incidents. After a few laps of racing at speed everything sort of slows down for you. Your eyesight adjusts, your reflexes match the speed of the car. Those who have driven a car at high speed will know what we experienced. The cars weren't twitchy or hard to drive. I will admit that at some point there will be a major accident, but how many cars in any given class don't have some sort of pile up. So far, no banzai moves trying to push through the inside line and general respect for the speed has made for good racing.

Rollout in the low 50s. Fastest lap was 15.3. We also ran GT12s, 13.5 1S blinky on foam tires. They were running laps on the same track in the 19.5 range. The GT12 class is just a tick faster than 17.5 12th just to put it all in perspective.

Default What's "badder" than a Pro10?

Not 1/10 scale, but this is one insanely ridiculous chassis.

15.3 versus 19.5? Considering the lap times for 17.5 1/12 scale are usually about the same as for 17.5 TC, all I can say is: WOW!

I don't think my eyeballs could rotate in their sockets fast enough to watch, let alone drive, those things.
