Thanx for the props...

I have to admit, the topplate does flex just a little bit but only if you put real force on it. Overall, with the new thick lower, the rearpod is really strong and rigid.

With the alloy lower podplate, it won't flex at all
With the new design lower carbon pod plate the car is even more stable then before.
It is now from 3MM carbon.

3mm carbon lower, nice. What is the thickness of the top plate?

Have to check to be sure.

If you do so, the left podplate will have the ride height adjuster on the inside and that will not work.

Take a look at my P235-SE. That is also a good solution on how to make an upper podplate...
Correct. I'm from the CRC world. Your solution is more like what I was thinking.

Roller

Complete, with stock lower plate and handmade upper plate. Ready to test. Still have not been able to hook up with my machinist to get the lowers made... patience...

Pic of motor wires clearance and routing. The current layout doesn't cause any binding or tweak whatsoever even with 12ga motor wires. Best angle I could get...

Hopefully get the body painted tomorrow and get it to the track!

Yes I definitely took inspiration from Johns car!

Should be first test of the whole chassis this weekend after testing the front end only previously

Currently for this test hack I am running RC18 shocks front and rear, these will be changed later to something else.

This car looked plenty fast last night. Soon, very soon we will be racing them.

OrganicMechanic;

I've got a slightly off-topic question for you. What brand wheels are on this car? (in the photo) Where did you get them?

Thanks - Dale

I wish I could take credit for that piece of art in the pic, but the credit goes to Joost K. as it is his prototype car.

To answer your question, the wheels are Xceed brand foams. Amain.com carries them, along with other places.

Thanks for continuing to produce the P905B body! Any chance you have another 235mm body in the works? I have a Protoform Nissan P35 NIP that I wouldn't mind seeing reproduced.

Dale, any chance you can produce the medium down force 905? The high down force produces to much down force for most tracks
