As I posted above, that is coming soon. I didn't have a chance to type the stuff up while I was at the race so I am getting it from XRC.

i think that the way to fix the warping problem with the wood would have to be using 2 layers of treated wood that are screwed together and overlapped. also i noticed that the pit road really doesn't get used so get ride of it and extend the onroad course alittle. also last year the road course lay out was different those 2 180's that were on the on road course this year were placed right in the oval grove. that meant that that portion of the track had a shat load of cars on it.
Katfish did you run jack the slipper???

Use roofing clips to hold the edges of the sheets together. Very Cheap, Very easy.

Tongue and groove boards or rent a dance floor. Mike will have it fixed, don't worry.

Warping
ONe way to stop warping would be tp use marine grade plywood. 1/2" would suffice to do the job. Build a false floor under it the lay the marine gade stuff down. Place either 1x2's or 2x4's on the floor, having them spaced appropriately apart, depending on the size area. Then screw the marine gade stuff down, then lay your carpet, with the plywood off the floor even the slightest amount air will be able circulate under it to allow for movement in the plywood,..if there is a gap of approx. of a 1/4" the plywood be able flex and "breath" in conditions like what you guys had in Orlando. This would help eliminate the warping you had.

Did anyone get any chassis pictures of the Custom Works oval prototype that was there? I understand that it won the main.
Please post them asap.

question for scoring pro
with the autoscore program you have to wait till the entire round is run to resort. with your program can you resort by class while the qualifying round is still running?

another thing that I didn't care for was the order in which the classes where run. 12th scale on road was always the first class out. after running all the oval stuff the 12th scale cars don't really help lay the groove down. maybe next year the can start with touring stock then 12th stock then the 19ts 12th mod and pro mod last.

This is not the first time the boards have came up. They did the same thing in 2002. It could have been 2001. Which ever it was,I was there. I really can't remember. " paragon poision" This is still a heck of a race!

concourse winners
TC3er in the first class most authentic. Greg Busch won with a Tony Steward paint job (American Flag/Home Depot car) This car was painted by Lynn Munno. 2nd place went to a Mustang done by Roly. In the best paint class Steve from MDI with first and second with paint by Roly and Lynn took third for her Dragon car. There were some pretty wild paint jobs from alot of painters, but the two Fl. painters (Roly and Lynn) did the best overall.
