managed to reset the esc back to factory setting! it's great, just don't have the gut to fiddle with the settings. my eyes simply can't keep up with reading the manual and adjusting the speedo LOL !! and i can't memorize...

Hi Guys,

I do have some issues with my GM v12xc.

My max brake power is very very weak. And I can't see any auto brake effect.

I did try to set program 6 (4kHz, auto brake & turbo) , min brake 5, max brake 10, turbo .27sec.

I'm using a TA05 with a 17T motor.

Any idea of what is wrong ?



P.S: The Moped 16V look like a cheap clone of the v12xc (50$) ... does anybody try to see if it does accept the same setting as GM ?

Did my bench test yesterday night ... and I did discover how this GM set up works:

When you enter in set up mode, the first click it is already done, and the red light flash once at the beginning automatically.

So for enter the menu #3, max brake, it is needed just to keep pressing on the power on, and press again the button only twice (not 3 times as said in the fuc.ing manual!) ... wait the red/green blinks, and press from 0 to 10 times for set the max brake ....

So far I was pressing always one time more then needed ... and I was setting in the max brake, what I did want to have as autobrake ... so a disaster set up !


PS: I did discover that the Moped 16V does accept the same setting as the GM V12 ... it just has one single red led, instead of the double (red & grean) leds in the GM. Other difference it is that the Moped not only make the red blinking, but also make some nice bip from the motor .... so for 49$ this is a great clone of the GM v12 ... that was over 120$ new !
