Looks good. How about a conversion kit?

Duh, somehow I managed to miss that. Thanks.
Now the question is, what all will the conversion come with? Just a chassis, links and battery holders or shock and pod too? I ask because my GenX is the original pod. I was planning on getting the brushless pod soon but if this conversion comes with everything, I will go that route.

"CRC has a conversion kit for current Gen-X owners to bring the original car all the cool features found on the XL for less. The conversion kit includes the Gen-XL chassis, XL links, antenna/shock mount, servo mount and the battery position pieces. This brings the long clamping links and lipo battery positioning to the original Gen-X. With the Encore shock and micro left pod, you can upgrade your current car to the latest specs affordably and quite easily. The conversion is part #3205."

Hm, so I would still need the brushless pod. Sounds like I would be better of just getting a new kit.

it depends on how exact you are with the body post holes. the body posts are 2mm farther apart from front to back. my bodies still fit, but i drill my body post holes with a bazooka.
worst case scenario is you have to SLIGHTLY elongate the rear holes.
