Default Adjusting Brushless Motor endbell for timings

Hi all, I understand that the motor timing for brushless motors can be adjusted both on the ESCs themselves and also by rotating the endbell of the motor. What I would like to know is whether the directions to turn the endbell for timing advance/retard is the same for all brushless motors?

ie Anticlockwise for timing advance and Clockwise for timing retard.

Thanks.

Turn the opposite direction of the rotor rotation to advance timing. Same direction as rotor rotation to retard the timing. This holds for ALL motors, brushed or brushless.
