Default Serrated brushes

Do serrated brushes still perform well once the serrations have worn down? Right now, I cut the comm and install new brushes every race day. Am I wasting money by replacing my brushes after only 4 runs?

on some motors like the new EPIC Binary Stock, there is a major speed difference between fresh serrations and worn-down ones.

An alternative to new brushes is a good serrator.
