Default Panasonic 3500

Test results are in. We tested 10 new cells, zapped them and cycled them at a 7 amp charge rate (worked best for performance) and discharged them at 30 amps. All cells were very uniform, I was impressed with this. The uniformity is good but the results of these are not up to par with the GP3300.

Steve,

Thanks for the test results. It is too bad they are not too up to snuff, then again 1st gens are usually not always that good. For a first gen they are not so bad, cannot wait to see how they hold up or what secrets they release.

Jeff

the pictures of these cells I have seen so far depict the cells as being almost square in shape....is this what you have tested?

The spec sheet says they're cylindrical SC size which I assume is Sub-c. The square box mabey represents the Space the cell would need in the form of a square? I'm just guessing

3500 huh, can't wait to see what we get in a few years.

Word I heard was the Panasonic was through with R/C. I'll run them at 35 amps and see what they do.

Is there a reason they went square? Is it something to do with the electrode or are they trying nuclear... lol?

We will know soon once we cut one open to study the inside construction. We are assuming some kind of new development.

The cells were 1.1+ @ 35 amps last night as well.

Is there a picture of these things?

I mean the spec sheet says they're cylindrical sc, list a diameter, the "square" picture is crude, and it could just be what they use for many different batts.

Dang square........Imagine all the chassis these won't fit right into.

A picture could be cool inside and out.
