Default Heatsink transfer double sided tape...

Does anybody know where to get this stuff? My LRP manual says to use Scotch 468MPm, but I can't find a small roll when googled. Anything else work as good. I have a heatsinks that have come off at some point and can't remount.

Try RS components, Farnell or Tandy (if you have these), Alltronics or Jaycar. They sell the stuff, not sure if in small or large quantities. There is also the permanent Loctite stuff but that is extremely expensive and it is permanent cement (the stuff they use to glue heatsinks to microchips in computers, etc.). Forgot the number, but it's easy to find.

I bought a few sheets of that to have around. Used it on my LRP TC Spec when the heatsink came off and it's been fine ever since.

Frag tape was the common tape for the tape years ago in the pc world. If you are going down the epoxy route the stuff you need to buy is arctic silver thermal epoxy, but some of the regular silver thermal compound as well and mix it 50/50 with the epoxy or you will never be able to remove it. Any good pc enthusiast site will stock both http://www.arcticsilver.com/

If you are tired of tape, and you know that you will always use a heatsink, than you need this stuff used on PC components that require permanent heatsink fixture.
