Im going to Buy a New Chassis for my TC3. Cause Its all Skratched up. They have the Composite Chassis and the Graphite Chassis At LHS.

What are the difference Between the Two?

And With Would be better?

The graphite chassis will be lighter (2 ounces if I remember correctly) and a little stiffer.

No, parts are interchangeable. It does not matter if you are running plastic parts or the graphite parts.

No, you will not need all new graphite parts. You can upgrade you car to the graphite as you see fit...all parts are interchangable. If you are a decent racer and what the added performance of the graphite parts, I would suggest buying the graphite kit for the TC3.
Graphite, while lighter and stiffer, is also more brittle. In theroy, the lighter weight and stiffness of the graphite will allow your car to be faster and more responsive. You may not even be able to tell the difference between the 2 materials when driving your car.
If you are a beginner, stick with the normal composite materials. They will take more abuse at the track and are less expensive.

Any word on Associated bringing out a chassis with revised battery location? (ie closer to drive shaft).

I know most guys grind, cut and chop their own chassis, but it would be nice to have one from the factory.

Anyone know if this is in the pipeline?

The weight difference between the composite and graphite isnt much. My composite chassis weighs 172 grams bare and my graphite chassis is 155 grams. Thats not much considering my graphite chassis is extensively milled out (battery mod, motor area opened up and lightening holes at both ends). The big advantage to the graphite chassis is the stiffness of it on carpet you will notice the difference alot compared to the composite. When I build a new car I am going with the BMI Chassis. For all of the time I spent cutting and milling my graphite chassis. It would have been easier and cheaper to get a BMI. Plus the BMI is stiffer than any stock chassis could ever be. For carpet you want the stiffest setup you can get compared to asphalt where a little chassis flex is desireable.
