Guess I'll have to beg Kitchen -and borrow his 104 kit rubbers for a test spin--He has no inserts in them tho---Will this matter?
Anyone in the US carry TRG or Pit's?

No luck.....
I could not find a trusted overseas store that could get me anything aside from the trg "s" by the 24th (Jackson race). Looks like we might have to rethink the rubber tire idea if we can't get them. There is no way a 103 will handle good with a shorter AND narrow wheel base. I think the 109 is a bit longer ..no? BTW the trg's were $50.00 a set(4) + shipping ( Do you know how many foam tires I could buy with that ).From what I was told on the 103 thread they are so soft they are only good for a few runs..Sort of defeats the purpose of switching to rubber.

JD-- We may be sticking w/ foams @ T&L-once the sealer is down-Monday hopefully-I think foams will be the way to go--.The oval guys have no problem w/tire wear on lilacs(spec for them)and good traction now and last year.
Rubbers are turning out to be a real PITA (supply)And Tamiya rubbers (104)only are avail in stock compound. We will see-running this week without sealer and next wk with sealer.

3Racing Out Tuned Ball Differential
The new 3Racing diff makes changing tires and diff adjustments a breeze. No more disassembling - just turn the inside alu ring for tightening/loosening the diff.
You will need to shorten the original diff axle or use a F104 shaft - the diff fits both F1-09 and F104.

hey guys.
after racing my f109 for first time, i'm looking to install rubber tyres. what would be the best way, without having to change arms, etc. originally i was going to put f104 rubbers on, but i hear the offset is too small. so now thinking about trg rims/tyres, will they be a good fit? im assuming f103 rims/tyres will be better/easier fit than f104? (also what are some good tyre brands?)
