not had time to test with rolling damper.
All I know is that with kit oil the rear walked, with heavier oil it was a nightmare, so i removed it and it was almost ok.
I also trid 2mm spacers on the side springs, but this made it swap ends to easily coming in to corners.
Someone suggested braking for the corners, but I never brake for corners with the GT car so want to get this F1 car to be the same.

I did actually wonder in the shell shape was a problem?
The side pods do seem high at the front

F1-09
i only got in a short test before trying to race it (on a greasy track)
I got as far as 10g below the axle, and was thinking of more.
I am wondering if the rear wing has something to do with the rear end problems on F1 cars, cos most F1 cars have a similar problem, yet 200mm pan cars do not suffer from the problem.
Still looking at ways to put Pro10 wheels on the rear, as then I can run the Corally Silverstars which seemed to work on the pan cars that ran.
(pan cars that did not run them also had rear grip issues)

I got my car yesterday and hope to give it a run on the weekend.
I am looking to make some new rear hubs to use the same tires as the Corally F1 uses, most of the guys here use Jaco tires so I want to do the same, are they the same mounting as the tires you are talking about ?

spring set.
Going to order our F109's. just wondering.... The centre springs, i've read you can just buy the Tamiya touring spring set. Are they the standard length ones or the short spring set?
will these do:

I'm using this set - the red one is the same as the kit spring

I guess these are the same but Milky blue (with a couloured dot) instead of colour coded.

I tried to use the ones from my CRC, tape brings the axle up to size on the non-diff side, but I can't get a fitting on the diff side.
I've not given up yet.
One guy in Germany made a batch a year back, but has sold them all.
and MLP have a car coming out shortly http://www.mlpmotorsports.net/page1.aspx and it has fittings for both pro10 and F1 wheels but says nothing about axle size, but being American it will probably be imperial size.

I am using the stock center oil and side damper oil but I am using a silver tc3 center spring and up front .20 1/12 speedmerchant spring up front. I am also using the tamiya 84070 body set for the f103 type C. this give you more stable rade . I am using the stock tires on carpet. it really works well.

If you are going to be at the track today I will have the rear springs for you and that should take away the push.
