Looking back through the pics...it looks like the F109 is about the same length as the F201. Has anyone tried using an F201 body with the F109/F103 wings?

Nice website. Nice F1s. You and Anders Myrberg started racing RC in the early 70's? You guys must be old. Just Kidding.

Compared to me Anders must be considered a wunderkind - I built and raced my first slotcar 1964

@Anders - don't give up, winning will surely come with age ....

I want ordering some 3Racing titanium turnbuckles and a turnbuckle tool for adjusting. I found now there are 2 versions of the turnbuckle tool a 3.1mm and a 4mm. Which one is the right one?

I too appreciate the posts from Inzane. I hope my post above wasn't taking as I was saying anything negative. It's more of "wow" these guys have been doing this for a long time. That's why they know what they're talking about.

Anyway back on topic. I'll just read from now on.

Wohoooo!!! You guys are ALMOST as old as I am---started slot racing in SoCal in 1961--- then moved on to onroad 1/12 scale RC with Jerobee cars in 1977.
Ran for Associated from 1979 until 1994--took a break to raise children and coach sports--BACK in rc cars 2009!!!

Been racing something ever since--- Good to see oldster's having fun with cars still!!!

@ InZane

Fantastic work.

Can you tell me about the wear of the rubber tires outdoors? How many minutes do you expect them to last?

I don't think I'll need more than 1 - maybe 2 - Ride medium sets for the whole season (say 25 hours/set). My first set has more than three hours of running without showing any real signs of wear. I can't see the soft Tamiya tires, on the other hand survive, more than 2-3 hours of hard racing.

Inzane that is very good. Even if a set of tires will last 3 hours I would consider that really good.

Every time I look at this cars I think I would like to have one.
