Lots of top 3 finishes.

We ran with a fast 109 guy at Horsham and by the end of the indoor
season he had his car dialed.

That being said I feel the wider wb. and larger tires that the 109/103 uses
is a big advantage over the 104 cars. I said it before but if the top car
comes out swinging 103 size tires the 104 is going to be the odd car out (good for us)
Oh yeah---I've put 103 tires on my 109 and it's punched. Eric P runs his 109 out here in SoCal and he's tough to beat-- I sure wouldn't put the narrow 104 tires on--not when the 103's fit fine and are easy to get with more compounds available---and it you want to go rubber--you can't beat the Ride tires on 103 rims for the 109!!!

Yeah, I will keep looking around. I also need a battery tray for a Airtronics M8.

I was taking a look at the CRC spring mod. So all you need is the crc spring kit, and the plastic spring holders? How to the springs stay into that rear plastic piece?

Where did you buy the alum upper susp mount on your F109?

now i have some questions perhaps you can help.
im now an owner of this car.

i have read that the front end of the f-103 will fit. is that correct?
because i want to try out the upper arms of the f-103.
would you recommend that or is it better to stay with the original front end?

i found a gpm upper arm set for the f-103.
see the pic, will this fit?
also i want to install the Adjustable Front Castor Mount Version 2.
is this possible to fit this with the gpm upper arms or do this castor mount would only fit with the f-109 upper arms?

and how can i adjust the front ride hight?

thanks for answers.
Where'd you find these?? I'd love to get a set for my 109
Thanks
Tim

3 racing makes alloy upper arms for the 103 I believe; if not GPM does.
Why?just for the bling?

I don't like the idea of alum suspension arms. Those parts are designed to break on impact. Alum arms would direct the force to more expensive pieces.

I've got a set of aluminum arms on a 103---didn't know where they came from --and a LOT of people see them and have said they look cool. I like they way they DON'T flex!!! And I've driven the car a LOT--and never had anything break on the front end--so I don't think that's created a problem---and it's much stronger with no flex!! I'm looking for more for my other 103.

The first Race in the Swedish F1 Cup was held this weekend at West-8 track outside of Gothenburg.
It's hard not to be very pleased with the results - TQ, track record and overall win by 7 laps - 30 minute finals with at least one mandatory 1 minute pit stop.
The Ride medium rubber tires (control tire) worked really well with track/tarmac temperatures over 20C.

BTW - I won Concours d'Elegance as well
