Will a F104 spur fit onto stock F109? Just stripped the 64p 98t pinion and have a 93t Tamiya F104 spur here. If not, anyone know where to get spur for F109 in 48p with link to site etc?

Hello guys,
I just put together an F109. Can you guys please help me as to what pinion should I start with. I'm using a silver can and with the stock 64P spur.

Cheers!!!

Default Selling my F109

hate to do this but I need to sell my F109. I won't have the chance to race this summer and some other financial responsibilities have come up.

Gear ratio is largely dependent on the track you are racing at, so it's best to post up in the tracks thread or give us the outer dimensions and layout description of your track.

So is everyone running the F109 and F104 these days instead of the f103?

Setting it up is half the fun!! Are people running the F1-09 with the stock front end or are they switching to the f103 style?

i switched my front end to the f104 pro front end. this way i can run the f104 rims and tires to cut the costs down and they are very easy to get ahold of. plus it drives great at the moment with the new f104 option soft rears and the std front rubber tires.

Ok, I just ordered the F1-09 kit, and should arrive within the week!! I am getting the Novak GTB 10.5 brushless setup, with a Airtronics M8 w/ spektrum reciever and a 5000mah 2s Lipo tomarrow from a friend. Is this a pretty dencent setup? What servo works wonders with these cars?

Hi im not sure where you are i think the alloy castor adjuster is almost a must , abe racing in the uk should have them also rcmart ( hk )should have them too , as for servos i tried with a stock size servo but soon changed to a low profile as the steering links " worked alot better"

Ran my 103 all winter and ran Jacksons opening event with it.
Lots of top 3 finishes.

We ran with a fast 109 guy at Horsham and by the end of the indoor
season he had his car dialed.

That being said I feel the wider wb. and larger tires that the 109/103 uses
is a big advantage over the 104 cars. I said it before but if the top car
comes out swinging 103 size tires the 104 is going to be the odd car out (good for us)
