Hi!

I wait for my own F109

But about spur gear, you can use any one from E12 chassis, at last
event, I give to my friend 94T/64p from HPI/HB (violet one) and it was OK.

Regards!
m.

ps: I think that 64p from Kimbrough will fit (I use them in my asso 12R5.1).

thanks again
I have the F104 rubber rims/tyres on my F109 and they fit fine..you will need bigger bearings for the front compared to the supplied 3racing foam rims/tyres and lucky I had some as typical Tamiya size ...looking at the car the front is wider but as mentioned this could be a good thing.
Does make the ride height a lot taller as the rubbers are a bit bigger than the foam tyres and this is at its lowest setting so dont know how this will affect the handling as still waiting on my lowpro servo to arrive.

You are correct sir. I just tried the rubber from my F104 and they fit with no issues. Now i checked the manual to see what size the bearings are but it doesnt give me the info. Do you know what size they are?

Also, I was looking into getting this spur gear.

will it fit?

I think HPI F10 front and rear wheels run hexes. So rears will probably fit but not the fronts.

No
HPI wheels run 12mm hex's, same as the older F201 and most 1/10th Touring Cars

F109 runs 14mm Hex's on rear, bearings on front

Correct, F104 uses 1050 bearings, so 5x10

Hello from France,

just ran 2 packs for a try!!!
It was on a very long permanent track.
I put some Paragon only on the rear tyres (3Racing box tyres, 56mm diameter front and rear).
The front has too much grip. I decrease steering travel from 100% to 40%, and put front hard team Asso springs. It was a little better.
But not so good, the car was very difficult to drive. I reduce the front diameter to 53mm, and then, it was a big improvment.
But sometimes, on little bumps with steering, the rear end wants to overtake the front one.
I feel like rear dampers doesn't drive anything!!!
I ran the main damper with stock spring/stock oil/3 holes.
I switch to stock spring/500 Xray oil(little thicker)/2holes.
It was a little better, but difficult...
The rolling damper was stock. I switch to 1 hole piston.
But I think, rolling springs are much too soft and rolling damper too.
I will order some CRC parts (thanks InZane), and for now, switch to 1.000 oil.

The car isn't good for the moment. It's not a real pleasure the drive yet, but it's on the good way!!!

With my 8.5t, I ran 20/80 with 56mm diameter. It was too short for my big track. I change to 24/78. Very good with low temps on speedo/motor (11C in the air). With my 4.200mAh/35C, I ran around 12mn.

My next test will rear damping tests and learning how to put Paragon, because For the first tests I wait only 15mn before driving, and after, some guys tell me it's minimum 30mn!!

Au revoir.
