the only thing thats making me don't want to buy this is the parts support. Are the parts easy to come by now or is it interchangeable to the other f1 cars?

Chassis plates and rear motor pod are the only things that are truly F109
All axle and shaft parts can be swapped with F103.
Am looking to milling out spare 103 axle height parts to fit Pro10 bearings so a pro10 rear axle can be fitted (allows for wider damp tyre choice)

Hi all
Well I gave the car a run on the weekend, very hot day on a outdoor track, the track had good grip, the car had too much steering, very easy to get oversteer and the back would slide out.
I tried some weight at the back and it did help, but still need more rear grip.
The setup was out of the box, has anybody run the car on a outdoor track ?
I am making rear hubs to take jaco tires, the same as the other drivers are using on there cars, this may help.
In the last run I lost one of the rear side springs, does anyone know a replacement I can use.
Regards
Gary

CRC red springs for side springs, and put them under tension to reduce side to side slop, this makes it feel more like the rear end of my GenX10.
Also I put on some older F103 offset front hubs, again like my GenX10.
And reducing that front castor makes a huge difference, it stops pulling the rear end round.
Also notice play in the rear arms where the cups sit on the balls, so am looking to convert this to the GenX10 style, cos I had to tension them today to get the car to go straight and not wander between on and off power.

Works great
Well I made the hubs to suit the Jaco tires, purple front and pink rear, it still had too much steering and the back was sliding out, I changed the shock spring to a yellow Tamiya one I had a it was great, that made all the difference.
Using the yellow spring with the kit tires mite work also, will have to try that.
Does anyone know the shock and side damper oil weight that comes with the kit and Lbs of the shock spring that's comes with the car, would like to try one a bit harder than the original and a bit softer than the yellow.
I will post some pics of the hub tonight.
Regards
Gary
