rc-toro.com has them listed on the website, not sure if there are any in stock.

speedtechrc.com has some kits coming.

rcmushroom.com if you want to order overseas.

I'm still working the kinks out of mine, but i would compare it more to an f104 or f103 for race worthyness. The HPI car is gorgeous, but i'm not sure how race-worthy it will become. Dont let the price of the F109 fool you, the car is highly adjustable, and a lot of the rear end technology has been proven in pan cars.

today was my first racing day with the f109. I really like the car the only thing is the plastic ball cup as a little soft but I was able to keep up with the f103 & the f104.

I received my F109 from Mushroom RC in only a few days. that's pretty amazing that shipping from China to US could be so quick. The back end of the car is super nice. But I do have question about the front end. It too is really nice aside from one troubling issue. The slider that allows caster adjustment moves fore-aft as intended. But it also is possible to twist it sideways without applying too much force at all. When it moves sideways, the caster goes way up on one wheel and way down on the other. Obviously that's going to be a problem on the track if a little bump throws the alignment so far out of whack. Anybody found a solution for this Issue? Does the aluminum slider fit more snug than the plastic one so that it's more resistant to the twisting motion? I'd rather not JB Weld this thing into a fixed position, so I'm looking for suggestions on how to make the slider stay straight so that the car will hold it's front end alignment.

Yep.
I've noticed that too. 3Racing as well as Tamiya make an aluminum one for the F103 that will work.

Does anyone know what springs i can use to change the roll springs on this car to stiffen it? The option springs are not out yet.

Go to nexus and get CRC #1280 side springs and 3387 molded spring retainers. You'll need 2 4-40 screws, decently long to use as tweak screws. The hole for the grub screw which secures the pin for the top deck hinge goes all the way thru, so you can use this for a tweak screw hole. You'll need to cut down the pins for the top deck, and secure them. I JB Welded them in the hole.

You'll need to dremel off part of the spring cup on the bulkhead to clear the spring retainer. Remove the spring retainer on the lower pod plate. Then screw the 4-40 screw into the bulkhead, screw on the CRC spring reatiner and attach the CRC side spring. I used red for carpet, but there is a good selection in the kit. You now have a wide variety of springs and also tweak control for the car.

Robk,

Thanks for the tips. Though I have not got my kit yet this is something I will probably do.

BTW, the signal wire of the esc looks damaged from rubbing on something.
