hahaha, if you come on by later this month, I think you are going to love what I have done with my car. If I can change these screws out and go hex, I'll be much happier.
Plus the car is almost dialed. I can now go 3/4 throttle consistently in turns and then punch it out of the turns. Here is the current setup I have for our track:
Sway Bars - 1.2 rear, 1.4 front. I may go 1.4 rear and 1.6 front for tire grip on the surface.
Drive Train - Front one way, stock ball differential rear.
Shock Positions - Stock (refer to manual).
Shock Pistons - 2 Hole front and rear.
Shock Oil - 35 wt rear, 40 wt front.
Shock Springs - Blue rear, Gold front.
Ride Height - 5 mm front, 5.5 mm rear.
Toe - -2 rear, +1 front.
Camber - -3 rear, -1 front
Gearing - Stock gearing, 48 pitch gears.
Rims and Tires - ABC Rims and Tires.
Chassis - Upgraded chassis, using tape to keep battery anchored.
ESC - Tekin RS Pro running version 200 firmware.
Motor - Tekin Redline Brushless 17.5 (12* advance timing - stock from factory).
Additional mods done were the aluminium steering rack and replaced the El Cheapo plastic bushings with ball bearings, cleaned out the front way grease and used Hudy one-way lube, cleaned out the rear differential grease and am using Team Associated stealth grease, re-greased the CVD joints with Team Associated stealth grease, re-greased with Team Associated stealth grease on all bearings after cleaning them with brake clean.
What I would like to do is get aluminium hex hubs and aluminium servo mounts (bling factor
), front foam bumper, and I definitely want to get those hex screws.
By the way Patrick, do you have any body mount posts available? I need to get another set or two for the different bodies and foam bumper I want to setup. Also, any word on the Silver Graphite chassis availability? I love that chassis color since it reminds me of the Yokomo cars of yesteryear.
