1/12 direct drive cars
The reason I started this forum is because I don't really know anything about the 1/12 pan cars, i own a F103 which is almost like a 1/12. but i heard that 1/12 are way faster...
i got a few question for all of you ppl
Which brand has 1/12 cars?
and which 1/12 pan cars do you guys prefer
This thread is also for ppl to talk about their 1/12 cars as well

I know AE and Corraly makes it. And i think lots of people use the AE one. I think Yokomo used to make one.
If you go to the OTher Racing forum there is a 1/12 thread over there.
geez you can pan cars.

Yokomo doesn't have a 1/12th scale car. They have a 1/10th scale pan car (the YRX-10), but it is not marketed here in the U.S. (don't know about Canada though). Masami Hirosaka still drives an RC12L3 when he competes in 1/12th scale.
Besides AE and Corally, Trinity has a 1/12th scale car (the SwitchBlade 12), as does Calandra Racing Conepts (the CRC Carpet Knife).
Personally, I think that the AE RC12L3 is your best bet. Excellent car, and parts availablility is the best.

Masami uses a special Yokomo chassis on his 12L ( you can find it on the Yokomo japan website ). Calandra (CRC) (www.crcracing.com) and Speed Merchant make awesome 12th scale cars. The people are very friendly at Calandra, I have talked to them about the 12th scale cars and the Neo gas cars they import.
I have seen both the Calandra and Speed Merchant upclose, they both have excellent parts quality and finish. They seemed to carry more corner speed and be more adjustable to changing track conditions than the 12L3's.
