Tech5,

Last night was just a test session for me to better prepare for the next round of RCGT which will be held at WCRC on the 5th of Sept. You should come out and watch as Jeffry and I are usually battling back and forth. (Though I have beaten him the last two rounds with my "plastic" car...)

Jimmy W
yes yes we know "plastic" car with 500$ worth of hop-ups

Just for the record I have;

TRF shocks, carbon steering link, sway bar kit & cv drive shafts. About $130 in Hop Ups.

I'm not sure at our level of class that I really need the $65 shocks. (They are butter smooth though!)

I'm going to try the stock shocks and see how they work in comparison.

If the car is all that why don't you race Jeffrey box stock no HOP UP to see which car is better. Right out of the box.

Either way that car is working awesome Mr. Wright!

Is that 130 team price or hobby shop price which should come out to be 260,
don't you get 50% off of retail?

My TB03 (minus the shocks) was box stock at Huntington Beach. What happened to Jeffrey then? Are the TRF shocks that much better?

Albert can attest to it being stock and weighing in at 1565g.

At Corona I had added a few more Tamiya Hop Ups as listed.

There is no doubt that the JL10 is a contender. So i'm not sure where your going with this?

Maybe you should check hobby shop/ street prices?

So what your saying is that Factory OFNA can't beat a Tamiya paying customer?

The T car is actually pretty cheap!
http://www.ultimatehobbies.com/istar...=TAM58409!1006
Is jeffry driving an all stock car? I am not bashing as it seems Jeffry is doing very well with his car. He also is a team driver for OFNA correct? He is an awesome driver. Drivers do have a big effect on car performance! Is ofna planning on including a body, wheels and tires anytime soon? That in my book makes the T-car a winner. Healthy competition is good for both manufactures as it gives us normal guys great choices in car selection! I see no reason for bashing ones choice of car. Jimmy and Jeffry both drive the wheels off their cars and its a great rivalry to watch! They both want to represent their products to the fullest. One does it with only 50% help and the other is 100%. Take it to the track guys! my money is on Jimmy anyday!

Jimmy lives in BFE. He runs when he can and onroad is a class he does for fun! If Jimmy could spend 2 solid days on his car he would be super dialed!

Yep he sure did! Thats right. I think it was the left rear shock that was broke on my TF5 after the second or third lap. (Special thanks to Chin)

Easy guys!!

This is supposed to be a friendly rivalry here.

I'll remove all my posts. I'm not trying to start trouble. Just wanted to get some friendly banter going to keep it fresh in between rounds thats all.
