No need for VTA or RCGT in my eyes, and Foam Touring is dead, dead, dead. Look at www.IIC09.com for confirmed Foam Touring race registrations compared to Rubber if you need ANY evidence to this fact.

Snowbirds is a big carpet race which is what this is about.
Was VTA that popular last winter? It seems like its gained in popularity since then. Perhaps it would do better next time. Not sure. I suspect VTA is populated primarily with racers that don't do a lot of national travelling.

generally speaking, people need a 'slow' and a 'fast' class for each so as to provide a stepping stone to go from zero to hero.
it's the two different tire options for the same damn chassis/motor that's been killing the depth in sedan classes over the last few years.

i totally agree about the tire choices. i mean from what i see at the one track i've been to, everyone pretty much runs foam but if i go somewhere else will i see more rubber?
