I am looking to buy a foam tire indoor spec chassi in the 10.5 category and Li-Po. i have closed down to these options Xray T2 009, TC5F, Tamiya TRF 416 and the JRX Type R. what would everybody suggest to go for? i am lost in my decision to what to buy, cash is no probelem and what's the best 10.5 motor?

If quality is what you are searching for then the Xray is the best one there is in the market. If youve been in racing for even a couple of months im sure youve heard that Xrays cars and parts are pricey, and while there is some truth to this, not only do you get what you pay for, but you dont have to upgrade the Xrays to be competitive. The Xrays are also one of the most durable, and the easiest build. Hope this helps.

While i have not ran the KO BMC Speedo yet, i have seen them run. The KO Speedo is the one of the future. You do not program it straight from the speedo, but from the computer. All you have to buy is the special usb cable thats for this speedo. The software is free and instead of releasing a new speed controller each year like LRP, Novak, etc etc they will send out a software update for free thats right free and that way you are constantly up to date on the technology.

Tekin does the free software updates.... I read some where that KO will charge something like $45 and you have to send it to them for the update...

I guess someone posted misleading info... I'm more than happy with my tekin... I wont be switching until a Tekin goes sour on me...

Alex

PS - Randy Pike says the new software Tekin is working on will sur pass the KO in performance...

yeah I have a tekin but hate it.....i cant use the hotwire software cause my comp is running vista 64 bit and they dont have software for that yet.

I would go for a LRP TC Spec, SXX, or the KO ESC.... all of these 3 will be good for you
