Default Questions about my 17.5 Trinity Duo

Two questions for you guys...

1) What is the stock/factory motor timing of the Tinity Duo 17.5?
2) Is the timing changable, and how do you go about doing it?

Thanks!

Cpt.

Assuming the original Duo and not the Duo2, then there are 3 timing locations. Ive seen people say they are 0,10, 20 and some say 10, 20, 30. Furtherest clockwise is 0 (or 10). Back the screws out near where the pinion goes. Turn to line them up with the desired timing location and screw back together.

I would say 20 deg is the middle hole... mine is 20deg. plus maxium advance timing ESC ...I set up my car with the oneway the reason it is easy on the motor and help reduce the temperutre than spool...

Mine came from Tinity on the right most hole, not the center hole. I backed the screws all the way out, but coulnd't spin the end to save my life.

Original DUO timing is 10, 20, 30.
All the way clockwise is 10, middle hole is 20, and counter-clockwise is 30.

take the screws all the way out and try turning. might need to pry it off a little before turning.

Yeah, I took the 3 very long screws all the way out. Maybe it just needs a little more muslce? I don't like forcing too much in this hobby... as things tend to snap I just wanted to be sure there wasn't some special, secret, hidden thing I gotta depress or soemthing to get the endbell to turn.
