Default pinion pitch

I received a bunch of pinions, but can't tell what pitch they are. Is there a way to tell what pitch they are? Thanks.

usually 64p looks like it has alot smaller of teeth. 48 looks a little bigger.

Try to compare one w/ a similar number of teeth. The higher the pitch the smaller the outside diameter of the pinion will be. As mention before this the 64 pitch will be noticeable smaller than the 48 pitch.
