Checkout Expressmotorsports.com and look there, they are great motors!!
Most that are on the market are Epic based motors, just depends on the tuning they put in them. Most people have gone to 17.5 brushless at this point. Also look at Axiom motors also. You can find them on the web or in the team and company section here.

He asked about 27T brushless. There's no such thing.

It's 27T brushed or 17.5T brushless...

Run any motor based on the duo motors from Trinity/Epic. They are all the same. All they do is put there own stickers on them

A person that doesn't want to dump another $200 into this hobby because they already spent $500 - $1,000 on something they only do once and a while.

That said, I just did this same research and unless you are going to bash or race once per month or so, you might as well go brushless. The motor will get slower over time and after 10 or so races (so I am told) you should consider "turning the com". For that you need to buy a lathe (minimum $50 probably $100+). By the time you do that you might as well go brushless. Not to mention changing out brushes regularily.

Sorry that I didn't make my self clear. I'm looking for the best Brushless motor equivalent to a 27T brushed motor.

oopps!! my bad, Checkout express also for the new duos coming soon! Tekin 17.5 are great motors also, or the old standby Novak. The trinity Duos are great motors, I have had one now for over a year with no problems, looking forward to getting the new duo2 when it comes out.:sneaky:

I run the Novak 21.5 brushless for VTA. It has been a solid performer for me and others in VTA. Just keep in mind in VTA there is only one choice for a brushless lipo combo. If you're not familiar this is just meant to keep every racer competitive.
